  • No. Certification is optional. What matters most is that you are committed to operating with purpose and actively working toward positive social and environmental impact.

  • All tiers include access to member social events, tickets to our annual job fair and employment events, a dedicated board buddy, and coworking passes or a discount at Place to B. Every member also taps into community, visibility, education, and long-term support on their impact journey.

  • Members can access learning events and workshops, industry mixers, and networking events, plus CEO and peer cohorts for values-aligned leaders. Many members also participate in our annual B Corp Leadership Development (BLD) conference.

  • We spotlight members through our website directory, social media, and newsletter, and by sharing stories via the Humans on Purpose podcast. Depending on your tier, you may also receive logo placement, feature articles, and recognition at events and programs.

  • The Declaration of Intent is a signed commitment to operate with purpose, centering people and planet alongside profit. It is not an audit; it's an honest snapshot of where you are today and how you intend to grow with the community.

  • When you apply, you'll share your defined purpose, any verified impact (like certifications or ownership structures). If not verified by a third-party certification or legal structure, no worries! we’ll ask about your current impact focus areas instead.

  • Yes. Many members are still clarifying their purpose, exploring certifications, or setting their first formal impact goals. The application and Declaration of Intent are designed to meet you where you are and help you take your next step.

  • You'll be asked for basic details (name, email, organization, role, website, location) along with questions about your purpose, impact focus areas, certifications, and support needs. You'll also read and agree to the Declaration of Intent.

  • Everything you have now stays active through the end of your current membership. When you renew, you'll move into the new structure and its updated benefits.

  • Renew under one of the new tiers and you're in. We'll apply any remaining credit from your current membership toward the renewal.
